Jened Recreation Village is a summer camp catering for the needs of hundreds of adults who are physically, mentally and behaviourally challenged. There, myself and my colleagues worked tirelessly day after day, 7.30am to 9.30pm, caring for our guests. Our remuneration was not in the form of money, instead it came with all we were able to learn from one another in these extremely demanding conditions.
